Equipment Operator Ops

About the role

The equipment operator at Milwaukee Tool is responsible for moving product throughout the warehouse. Duties include driving reach trucks to assigned locations, delivering product to designated areas, stacking and moving empty pallets and wire baskets, locating all received product to appropriate bins or overstock locations, ensuring correct paperwork is given to carriers, and operating a wrap machine to secure pallets before shipment.

Responsibilities

• Drives reach truck to assigned location to pull product
• Delivers product to designated area in overstock, to be replenished or shipped
• Stacks and moves empty pallets and wire baskets to correct destination
• Limits all received product to a forward picking bin or designated overstock location
• Ensures all carriers receive the correct paperwork
• Operates wrap machine to secure pallets prior to shipment
• Responsible for overall organization and cleaning of area

Requirements

• Education equivalent to four years of high school
• Experience operating a Reach Truck, Order Picker, Sit Down Forklift, and an Electric Pallet Jack

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in various temperature conditions
• Physical demands include frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling of tools and boxes
• Requires ability to operate a reach truck
• Physical and weightlifting demands vary based on the tasks performed
