Equipment Operator - Night Shift

Location: Stringtown, OK (Aggregate) · Night Shift

About the Role

Runs dozers, loaders, excavators, haul trucks or other types of large equipment used for paving or moving, grading and compacting earth, sand, gravel, stone and/or asphalt materials. Conducts routine daily inspections of equipment and maintains equipment in a clean and safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Operate various heavy equipment to load trucks, feed bins with various aggregate materials, and maintain proper quantities of material to be loaded
• Keep equipment clean and orderly
• Perform daily inspections on equipment to ensure safe operation
• Ensure safety, compliance, and environmental requirements are followed at all times
• Load material into bins, crusher, trucks, or plant
• Move earth or other materials from one location to another
• Perform visual and safety inspection of equipment
• Maintain appearance of equipment, proper air pressure in tires, proper fluid levels, or perform minor repairs as needed
• Complete required paperwork and assist with other duties as required
• Demonstrate commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments
• Promote a culture of safety and exhibit safe behaviors

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and write
• Excellent driving skills
• Adherence to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize-approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including respirators
• Employees required to wear respirators must be clean-shaven where the respirator seal meets the face to pass qualitative and quantitative fit tests
