Equipment Operator II

General Responsibilities

Terracon’s Construction Services include environmental remediation, fuel service station closure, and renewable energy construction (testing, installation, and maintenance). These services are executed by Terracon-employed equipment operators and support staff.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of construction experience.
• Computer knowledge and proficiency, including Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• OSHA trenching and excavation training, including guidelines, requirements, and regulations or ability to obtain after hire.
• Soil Composition, Testing, Trench Safety, Excavation Safety, Damage Prevention, Pipeline Support During Excavation Activities. Backfill Testing.
• Completion of Terracon Mobile Equipment Operator Competency training after hire.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
• Ability to obtain certification or licensure in field of expertise, such as Excavator Certification, Bulldozer Certification, Front End Loader and Backhoe Certification.
• Preferred Certification: For Remediation Construction projects, 40-Hour HAZWOPER certificate, TWIC and DOT medical card preferred.
