EQUIPMENT OPERATOR I - WAILUKU/ KAHULUI, MAUI
Duties Summary
Operates TWO (2) or more types of light motorized equipment such as Farmall International or John Deere rubber-wheeled tractors and pick-up trucks as a major work assignment; may perform manual work tasks in connection with general construction and maintenance work; and perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
- Legal Authorization To Work Requirement: Citizen, national, or permanent resident alien of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States.
- Experience and Training: ONE (1) YEAR of work experience involving the operation of at least two of the motorized equipment representative of the class Equipment Operator I (e.g., Farmall tractors and trucks having a factory rated capacity of less than 1-1/2 tons), or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Select Certification Requirement: Applicant must be able to lift/carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted and lift/carry objects weighing up to 100 pounds assisted by another person and/or use of equipment (e.g. hoisting equipment, hand truck).
