Equipment Operator I&I
About the role
The Sanitary Sewer Inflow and Infiltration (I&I) department is responsible for cleaning, televising, evaluating, maintaining, and rehabilitating the City’s sanitary sewer system; supporting the I&I Reduction Program; monitoring contractor work; and collecting, reviewing, and maintaining information used to evaluate system condition and reduce inflow and infiltration. The I&I Equipment Operator performs both field operations and technical/data-related duties. Assignments may emphasize field crew work, computerized inspection and records work, or a combination of both based on department needs, employee training, and demonstrated ability.
