Equipment Operator - Coleman, OK

Job Responsibilities

• Daily or pre-shift inspections on equipment
• Safely operate front end loaders, dozers, excavators, skid steer loaders, and haul trucks
• Perform clean-up work as necessary
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment
• Comply with company safety rules and regulations
• Handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Perform other related duties such as maintenance/repair, and yard loading when needed
• Understand, interpret, and execute instructions given in both verbal and written form
• Recognize potentially hazardous situations
• Adhere to MSHA and plant safety rules and regulations

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in operating heavy equipment
• Ability to complete pre-shift inspection report
• Ability to work scheduled shift hours and be flexible with scheduling, overtime, and weekends
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Ability to communicate with others via a two-way radio
• Ability to wear all required safety equipment
• Ability to perform duties in a safe manner
• Ability to read and interpret gauges
• Ability to work in a TEAM environment
• Bilingual a plus

Physical Requirements

• Continuous exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme noise, and working outdoors
• Willingness to perform all job functions including, but not limited to, walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, turning, climbing to a significant degree
• Exerting up to 100 pounds of force
• Walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree

Education

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent required
