Equipment Operator - Cement

About the role

KLX Energy Services LLC is seeking an Equipment Operator based in Gillette, WY. The primary purpose of this position is to provide support to crew members with operations on and off-site as directed.

Responsibilities

• Supports crew members with operations on and off-site as directed.
• Places spot equipment as directed by Supervisor.
• Executes operations at a customer's well location, including exposure to inclement weather and confined spaces.
• Operates and maintains assigned truck and equipment, and completes all job-related paperwork, driver’s logs, and vehicle inspection reports.
• Installs/disassembles equipment according to original manufacturer’s standards, verifies applicable certifications, and performs assembly, securing, and disconnection tasks.
• Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots equipment, including diagnostics, and performs minor repairs as needed under supervision.
• Maintains and adjusts processes or equipment to optimize quality and efficiency, adhering to safety guidelines and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Less than High School Education
• Work Experience: 2-4 years
• Related Experience: Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history, 21 years of age or older for liability coverage

Prior to Employment

• Must have Forklift Operator and Crane Operator certifications.
• Must have Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement.
• Relevant oilfield product line experience preferred.
