Equipment Operator - Cable Install
for section headings.
We need to use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits.
We need to use
for prose.
We must not repeat job title as heading. Not needed.
We must not put Job ID/requisition numbers as headings.
We must preserve all substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail.
We need to remove boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning, duplicated lines, application instructions.
We need to drop "Questions that can be added to the application" (application instructions). Also drop "Accessibility: If you need accommodation..." maybe considered boilerplate but it's substantive? It's about accommodation request; could be considered part of EEO but it's a contact. Might be considered boilerplate; but it's not duplicated. However it's not a standard section; we could drop as it's not part of core job description. Safer to drop.
Also drop EEO statements.
Also drop "#PACKPower Ready to Apply? Join our team and help build the future of power infrastructure. Apply Now Share This Copy URL Why Join Us? Competitive CompensationComprehensive BenefitsCareer Growth OpportunitiesIndustry-Leading ProjectsSafety-First Culture" That's marketing fluff; but includes benefits list again. We already captured benefits; we can ignore that.
We need to ensure we don't lose any substantive info: The company overview, position scope, duties, physical requirements, education/experience, knowledge/skills/abilities, benefits, pay (including per diem). Also location & travel (nationwide opportunities, per diem). Also mention "In addition to your hourly pay, you’ll receive a daily per diem". That's pay.
We need to decide sections:
- About the role: Could combine Position Scope and Company Overview? But we have separate headings: "About the role" maybe not in original but we can create. The instruction: use
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we can use those headings if we have content.
Thus we need to map content to these headings.
About the role: Could include Position Scope and Company Overview (description of role and company). That seems appropriate.
Responsibilities: Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities.
Requirements: Education And Work Experience (maybe also certifications?). Could also include Physical Requirements? But Physical Requirements could be under Requirements or Qualifications. The instruction list includes Requirements and Qualifications separate. We could put Education/Experience under Requirements, and Physical Requirements under Qualifications? Or maybe Qualifications includes certifications, physical requirements. Let's decide:
- Requirements: Education And Work Experience (high school diploma or equivalent, 6-12 months experience, equipment operator certifications as required, NCCER preferred, CDL preferred). Also maybe include "Ability to operate on uneven terrain..." but that's more duty.
- Qualifications: Physical Requirements (hand-eye-foot coordination, ability to safely enter/exit equipment, ability and willingness to work safely inside/out of equipment). Also maybe include "Ability to work in varying weather conditions". That's physical/ability.
- Skills: Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (list of safety, reading docs, math, units, common sense, precise standards, working knowledge of materials, etc.)
- Benefits: What's In It For You (competitive pay with ongoing performance review and merit increase, 401k with company match, medical/dental/vision, HSA, PTO, paid holidays, bereavement leave, employee/family focused culture). Also note "competitive pay" maybe also in Pay section.
- Pay: Specifically mention hourly pay and daily per diem. Could also mention competitive pay etc but we already have that in Benefits; but we can still mention in Pay.
- Schedule: Not present, so omit.
We must avoid duplication: If we put competitive pay in both Benefits and Pay, that's duplication. Better to put pay details in Pay section, and benefits in Benefits section excluding pay. So Benefits: 401k, medical/dental/vision, HSA, PTO, paid holidays, bereavement leave, employee/family focused culture. Pay: hourly pay (unspecified amount) + daily per diem.
We need to preserve all substantive info: The posting says "Competitive pay with ongoing performance review and merit increase". That's a benefit description of pay. We could include that in Pay section: "Competitive pay with ongoing performance review and merit increase; plus daily per diem to assist with living expenses while on assignment."
Thus Benefits section excludes pay.
Now we need to format.
We'll produce HTML fragment:
