Job Title: Equipment Operator Location: Bossier City Transfer Station Pay Range: $24-26/hr., depending on experience | Weekly Pay Schedule: Monday–Friday | Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Rotating Saturdays | 50-54 hours per week Job Summary Waste Connections is hiring an Equipment Operator for our Bossier City Transfer Station. This is a physically demanding position ideal for someone with hands-on experience operating an excavator. In this position, you will contribute to the safe and efficient operation of the transfer station. What You’ll Do Back into the building to hook up to empty trailers, unhook the truck, and operate an excavator to move and mange solid waste at the transfer stationMaintain a safe, organized, and efficient work areaPerform daily inspections of equipment and report issues promptlyCommunicate clearly with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operationFollow all safety procedures and operational protocolsSupport team needs and step in wherever needed to keep operations moving What You Need To Bring 2+ years experience operating excavators.A strong safety mindset and attention to detailAbility to work outdoors in various weather conditions Why Join Waste Connections?
