About the role
We’re currently seeking a safety-focused Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. In this role, you will operate heavy machinery and contribute to a safe, efficient, and environmentally sound work environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, wheel loaders, motor graders, scrapers, and compactors.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment.
- Promote continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
- Interact with customers and Waste Connections employees to determine safe and environmentally sound solutions to service issues.
Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience running heavy equipment
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance
- Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures

Pay
$22.50–$26.00/hr (based on experience)
Schedule
6:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday–Friday
