About the role

Taylor DM Brands is seeking an Equipment Operator to join the team in Amsterdam, NY. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate printing press equipment in compliance with job specifications and company quality standards.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output.
• Prepare inks for proper color and consistency.
• Check paper for type, size, color, and quantity.
• Check plates for correct format.
• Visually inspect forms throughout the run for quality.
• Coordinate with the Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, reorganizing as needed to meet deadlines.
• Maintain knowledge of safety requirements for the job and equipment.

Schedule

1st Shift; Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM.

Requirements

• Ability to set adjustable mechanisms to required tolerances.
• High degree of mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• High degree of mechanical ability and good reading skills.
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position.
• Constantly operates machinery and handles print materials.
• Frequently required to move inside the facility.
• Regularly lift, push, pull, or carry up to 25+ pounds.

• Ability to work with very close tolerances.
• Effective communication with team members.
• High degree of analytical skills.
• Good color discernment.

Pay

The anticipated hourly wage for this position is $16.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on qualifications, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
