Equipment Operator

R360 Environmental Solutions, a Waste Connections company, is the nation's leading provider of environmental oilfield waste management. We’re looking for a dependable and safety-minded individual to join our team at our Bourg, Louisiana facility.

About the role

Safely operate heavy equipment (bulldozers, compactors, loaders) to move, spread, and compact waste materials. Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs. Maintain landfill cover and site grading to meet safety and environmental standards. Follow all safety and environmental regulations, including proper PPE use. Communicate with team members to ensure efficient and safe landfill operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, compactors, and loaders
• Move, spread, and compact waste materials
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
• Maintain landfill cover and site grading to meet safety and environmental standards
• Follow all safety and environmental regulations, including proper PPE use
• Communicate with team members to ensure efficient and safe landfill operations

Requirements

• Willingness to work 14/7 rotating day and night shifts
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Commitment to safety practices and PPE usage
• Mechanical aptitude or previous oilfield/waste handling experience is a plus

Pay

$18–$20/hr (based on experience, plus overtime).

Schedule

14/7 rotating day and night shifts.
