About the role

We are hiring an Equipment Operator to work at our Halfway Facility in Carlsbad, NM. This is a local position with no travel or per diem required. The role involves working outside in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, ADT haul trucks, etc.
• Assist the team in day-to-day operations of the facility.
• Monitor and maintain the customer truck wash rack, run 6X6 diesel-driven pumps, perform oil skimming, and assist with customer off-loading.
• Perform SWD duties including tank, pump, and well maintenance, basic labor, and cleaning.
• Run reports and monitor oilfield waste treatment operations.

Previous experience as a mechanic, working on mechanical systems, or large plant maintenance is highly preferred.

Pay

$70,000–$80,000+ DOE ($21–$24+/hr).

Schedule

• Day or night shift positions available
• 6 days on, 3 days off rotation (for local applicants)
• 14 days on, 7 days off rotation (for out-of-city applicants, with housing/man camps provided)
• Working hours: 5:30 AM–5:30 PM or 5:30 PM–5:30 AM
