EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
for section headings: e.g., About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We should map content to appropriate headings. The posting has "Brief Description" maybe treat as About the role. "Who We Are" could be About the role as well. Could combine. But we need to avoid duplication. Use headings only when real specific content.
We have schedule: "Work schedule is Monday - Thursday, 10 hour shifts." So we can create Schedule
with
Monday - Thursday, 10 hour shifts.
Benefits: we have a detailed list. UseBenefits
with- items.
Requirements: we have requirements text. Use
Requirements
withmaybe list? The requirements include: high school graduation + 1 year road maintenance/construction experience, valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement preferred, training provided, must obtain CDL within 6 months. Also maybe "Completion of an established apprenticeship program will be considered equivalent..." We'll put as
- .
Responsibilities: we have "Summary Duties" which is a list of duties. Use
Responsibilities
with- .
Skills: we have "Examples Of Skills & Abilities". Use
Skills
with- .
Knowledge: we have "Examples of Knowledge". Could be under Skills or separate? The instruction says use headings for Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule, etc. Knowledge could be part of Skills or maybe we can include under Skills as well. But we have a separate heading for Skills only; we could put knowledge under Skills as well, but better to follow instruction: only use those headings if content exists. Knowledge could be placed under Skills or maybe we create a separate section? Not listed. Probably we should incorporate knowledge into Skills section or maybe under Requirements? But we have a separate "Examples of Knowledge". Could treat as part of Skills. We'll combine knowledge and skills under Skills heading.
Qualifications: we have a qualifications section similar to requirements. Might be duplicate. We'll include Qualifications heading with content.
Physical Demands: we have physical demands. Not in list of headings but we could still include as a section? The instruction says use
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It says e.g., not exclusive. So we can add other headings if needed, but better to stick to those. Physical demands could be placed under Requirements or maybe under a separate heading like "Physical Demands". Since not in the example list but allowed? The instruction: "Use
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." It suggests those are typical but not exhaustive. We can add Physical Demands as a heading if we want. However, to be safe, we could incorporate physical demands into Requirements or maybe a separate section "Physical Demands". I'd add a heading Physical Demands. We must not include boilerplate like EEO, application instructions, disclaimer, etc. So we strip those. We need to preserve all substantive information. Ensure we don't miss any details: The brief description includes: "Are you looking for a fun and rewarding work environment? Lewis and Clark County Public Works is hiring two (2) Equipment Operators to work in the Road and Bridge Division. Under general supervision of the Road Manager/Bridge Manager this position performs road and bridge maintenance and repair. Work schedule is Monday - Thursday, 10 hour shifts. Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with tanker endorsement preferred. Candidates who do not currently possess a Class A CDL are encouraged to apply. The County will provide Class A CDL training and certification. Employees must obtain a Class A CDL within six (6) months of their hire date. The one (1) year of road maintenance or road construction experience is required." We need to keep that info. Some of it repeats later. We'll craft sections:
About the role
with paragraph combining brief description and who we are. But we must not repeat job title as heading. Let's draft: About the role: Lewis and Clark County Public Works is hiring two Equipment Operators for the Road and Bridge Division. Under general supervision of the Road Manager/Bridge Manager, the position performs road and bridge maintenance and repair. Work schedule is Monday - Thursday, 10 hour shifts. Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement preferred; candidates without a CDL are encouraged to apply as the County provides training and certification, requiring acquisition within six months of hire. One year of road maintenance or road construction experience is required. Who We Are: The Road, Bridge, and Sign Divisions maintain County roads and bridges, provide snow removal, oversee design/reconstruction, perform maintenance projects such as pothole repairs, chip seals, striping, signage, safety modifications, drainage and storm water improvements. We can combine. Responsibilities: list from Summary Duties. Requirements: list of knowledge, skills, abilities equivalent to high school graduation + 1 year experience, apprenticeship equivalence, CDL preferences, training, obtain CDL within 6 months. Qualifications: similar to requirements but maybe repeat; we can keep as separate but ensure not duplicate exactly same content. Could combine but we need to preserve all info; duplication is okay as long as we preserve. But better to avoid repeating identical sentences. We'll keep Qualifications with the same content as Requirements? Might be considered duplicate. However the posting has both Requirements and Qualifications sections with similar content; we can keep both but maybe rephrase slightly to avoid exact duplicate. But we must preserve all substantive information; we can keep both sections with same info; it's not invented. Skills: combine Examples of Knowledge and Examples Of Skills & Abilities. Benefits: list. Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 10 hour shifts. Physical Demands: list. We must not include application instructions, EEO, etc. Now produce HTML fragment. Let's craft. Be careful to escape any special characters like &, but fine. We'll output:About the role
