Equipment Operator

Hampton County is currently seeking a full-time Roll off Truck/Equipment Operator. Under supervision, this individual will perform County Landfill and Recycling Site operations and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate a roll off truck daily
• Operate a dump truck and heavy equipment as needed
• Perform all activities relating to collection, disposal, and recycling of materials
• Conduct minor repairs and preventative maintenance on required equipment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One to two years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
