Equipment Operator

About the role

This is a temporary position (approximately 6 months) located on site in Hardin County, OH.

Responsibilities

• Operate: Excavator Operator, Tracked Dozer, Wheel Loader, Water Truck, Skid Steer, Motor Grader, Backhoe or Combination, and other applicable Class I, II, III and IV Equipment
• Manual labor in addition to equipment operation. May include lifting (up to 100 pounds) or other construction related tasks
• May be required to work different shifts
• Assures safe working practices and conditions for assigned crew
• May work in confined spaces

Qualifications

• OSHA 30-hour and/or general construction industry training course(s)
• Knowledge of safety practices and procedures in operating heavy equipment
• Ability to utilize operations manuals and manufacturer's specifications in operating specialized equipment
• Ability to prepare reports and records of work accomplished, time spent, and parts, supplies, and materials used
• Must possess a valid driver license and have a clean driving record
• DOT physical required
