Equipment Operator

About the role

This position involves operating various pieces of equipment and vehicles essential for maintaining, constructing, and repairing public infrastructure in the City of McDonough. Areas of responsibility include stormwater, water distribution, wastewater, and other facets of the Public Works department.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery and vehicles to perform maintenance tasks
• Assist in the installation and repair of public utilities
• Participate in routine inspections and monitoring of infrastructure
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to environmental regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Experience with heavy equipment and vehicles
• Knowledge of public works operations and maintenance

Pay
