Equipment Operator
JOB REQUIREMENTS
The City of Marinette is seeking a dedicated and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join their Public Works department. Key duties include operating construction and maintenance equipment such as excavators, loaders, and trucks; performing road repair, snow plowing, and general maintenance of streets and public infrastructure; and conducting routine inspections and basic maintenance on vehicles and equipment.

- Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on Vehicles And Equipment
OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Possession of a valid Wisconsin Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Tier 1 Class B or C with N endorsement
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in equipment operation, road maintenance, or construction preferred
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks
- Availability for on-call work, especially during snow removal operations or emergency situations
RESIDENCY
Applicant is required to establish residency within thirty (30) miles of the jurisdictional boundary of the City of Marinette within six months of hire.
