About the role
To complete assigned work in grounds and support maintenance services throughout the district.
Responsibilities
- EQUIPMENT OPERATOR I: Two (2) years’ experience in the operation of light/heavy equipment on grounds, around buildings, and/or over roads.
- EQUIPMENT OPERATOR II: Two (2) years’ experience in the operation of light/heavy equipment on grounds, around buildings, and/or over roads.
Qualifications/Certifications
- EQUIPMENT OPERATOR I: Required: High school diploma or equivalent or special diploma; Valid Florida Driver License; Must obtain a CDL Class B within one (1) year of hire date.
- EQUIPMENT OPERATOR II: Required: High school diploma or equivalent or special diploma; Valid Florida Driver License and CDL Class A.
Pay
- EQUIPMENT OPERATOR I: Grade 22 - $18.52 per hour
- EQUIPMENT OPERATOR II: Grade 25 - $19.80 per hour
Schedule
- 8.000 hours per day
