EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

Responsibilities

• Wear all safety equipment provided by the Club during working hours.
• Safely and orderly operate all equipment or mowers in mowing any golf course areas.
• Ensure the equipment cooling system is working at all times.
• Refill fuel and clean equipment daily.
• Report equipment problems or failures to Equipment Manager and/or GCM Superintendent immediately.
• Operate equipment as directed by the GCM Superintendents and/or Director of GCM.
• Be in proper uniform; shirts must be tucked in and proper shoes must be worn.
• Perform related tasks as requested by the GCM Superintendents and/or Director of GCM.
• Act as a “Team Player” of Boca Woods Country Club, being flexible and performing any job as requested by the Director of GCM and/or GCM Superintendents.

Requirements

• Operator must be able to work as a team by helping one another and maintaining a positive attitude at all times.
• Trained to operate small hand-powered equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, talk or hear, taste or smell.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Near moving mechanical parts, exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold and extreme heat, and noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
