Equipment Operator

About the Erosion Control Division

Erosion Control is a Division within Absolute Group that specializes in commercial and state erosion and soil control services. We offer a wide range of agricultural construction solutions, including seeding, sodding, mulching, silt fence installation and storm water pollution prevention plan (SWPPP) management.

Responsibilities

• Operate agricultural tractor and/or skid loader equipment for erosion control, seeding and planting tasks.
• Perform physical labor work wherever needed, including lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Work in all weather conditions and available to work overtime.
• Travel and work some out-of-town overnight shifts.
• Perform required paperwork and computer work.

Requirements

• Good work ethic, able to adapt to a variety of different labor assignments.
• Ability to work closely with other employees and supervisors.
• Valid Driver's license (Class A CDL preferred) and a clear driving record.
• Willingness and ability to perform manual labor and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
• Available to work overtime.
• Willingness to travel and ability to work some out-of-town overnights.
• Ability to do required paperwork and computer work.

Qualifications

Successful candidates should have at least 1 year of experience running agricultural tractor and/or skid loader equipment for erosion control, seeding and planting.

Skills

Must have a positive attitude and be a true TEAM player.
