Equipment Operator A - Selinsgrove Center (1st and 2nd Shift)

About the role

The Selinsgrove Center is seeking Equipment Operators to support daily operations. This role involves handling various equipment to keep the campus functioning well, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Operate mowers, trucks, buses, tractors, and other machinery to support campus needs
• Mow, trim, and clean outdoor areas including lawns, walkways, and parking areas
• Complete pre-trip checks and document findings on required reports
• Load and unload materials and use hand tools to complete assigned duties
• Assist during snow removal, sidewalk clearing, and other seasonal needs
• Perform additional assignments based on supervisor direction and operational needs

Qualifications

• Six months experience in the operation and maintenance of large vans, buses, and single-chassis trucks with a gross vehicle weight of 10,001 pounds or more
• Valid Class C Pennsylvania driver's license
• Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with air brake endorsement at hire
• Passenger endorsement to Class B CDL within 6 months of employment
• Pennsylvania residency

Work Schedule and Additional Information

• Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
• Available shifts: 1st shift (6:00 AM to 2:00 PM), 2nd shift (12:00 PM to 8:00 PM)
• Every 4th weekend shift requires working Saturday and Sunday, with Monday and Friday off after
• Every 3rd weekend shift requires working Saturday and Sunday, with Monday and Friday off after
• Overtime and travel as operationally necessary
• No telework option

Schedule
