About the Role

This position involves maintaining and repairing a wide range of golf course and utility equipment, implementing a preventive maintenance program, and ensuring operational safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize equipment repair and maintenance tasks.
• Inspect, diagnose, and conduct repairs on various types of golf course maintenance equipment, including diesel and electric golf carts, trenchers, sweepers, rollers, mowers, and other mechanical utility equipment.
• Maintain a preventive maintenance program within budget for all equipment.
• Purchase repair parts and replacement supplies as needed.
• Order materials, supplies, tools, and equipment, ensuring all tools, vehicles, and equipment are operational and in safe working condition.
• Communicate maintenance or repair needs and problems to the supervisor.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card are required.
• Must meet qualification, eligibility, and background requirements for the position.
• A one-year probationary period may be required.
• Must satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Subject to pre-employment checks, including a National Agency Check (NACI) with a Tier 1 background investigation and physical examination.
• Ability to move heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
• Position requires driving on and off-road in adverse conditions or on uneven terrain.
• Physical, mental, audio, and visual abilities required to perform duties satisfactorily.
• A physical examination may be required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated work experience in repairing equipment similar to that listed in the responsibilities, including knowledge of hazards and safety precautions.
• Ability to drive diverse types of vehicles on uneven terrain.
• Experience must be clearly reflected on the resume to receive credit.

This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
