Equipment Maintenance Technician (Night Shift)
Role Description
We are looking for an Equipment Maintenance Technician, to support our manufacturing and factory build operations. This person will be responsible for making sure our equipment runs smoothly and supporting our technical operations. The ideal candidate will be able to independently execute day-to-day operations and maintenance activities as well as be willing to roll up their sleeves to quickly tackle facility service and repair issues. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this person will work closely with all members of the Form Energy team.
What You'll Do
- Perform equipment troubleshooting, repair and root cause analysis on manufacturing equipment.
- Aid in the installation and commissioning of new and retrofit equipment.
- Ensure a safe work environment.
- Perform mechanical, electrical and control system maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Develop and track equipment preventative maintenance schedules, and prepare maintenance reports using a cloud-based organizational tool or CMMS.
- Record and process findings of maintenance duties on maintenance log.
- Identify root cause of problems by observing mechanical devices in operations.
What You'll Bring
- HS Diploma or GED and 4+ years of experience in an equipment maintenance role.
- Proficient in mechanical and electrical calibration.
- Ability to read and work from mechanical and electrical schematics.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods.
- Strong Mechanical aptitude.
- Strong electrical trouble shooting ability.
- Controls experience is a plus.

This role is based at Form Factory 1 in Weirton, WV—an easy commute from the city of Pittsburgh, PA. This 550,000-square-foot facility is our hub for high-volume battery production and a leader in the new era of American energy manufacturing.
