Equipment Maintenance Technician, Cell Recycling

What You'll Do

• Provide day-to-day coverage for production line equipment, responding promptly to alarms, breakdowns, and production requests to minimize downtime
• Diagnose equipment failures, identify root causes, and communicate actions taken to the team
• Achie expert level proficiency on all assigned machines, overseeing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting/repair, cleanliness, and equipment escalation
• Take initiative to enhance preventive maintenance documents and schedules under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor and Leads
• Perform major equipment repairs and rebuilds, including some weekends and holidays
• Efficiently utilize manufacturing systems (MES, Spares Inventory, Issue Tracking) for effective operations
• Collaborate with Process and Equipment engineering and other cross-functional groups to address maintenance issues, enhance equipment reliability, review procedures, and minimize downtime

What You'll Bring

• Areas of specialization: Electrical/electronics, mechanical/machining, or automation/PLC (Siemens experience desired)
• Expertise in troubleshooting automation, electromechanical systems, conveyance, pumps and plumbing
• Proficiency in using various hand and portable tools, as well as general machining and welding
• Familiarity with common workplace software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), along with the ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
