Responsibilities
- Follow all safety protocols
- Adhere strictly to cleanroom contamination control and gowning procedures
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective repairs on etch tools and associated subsystems
- Troubleshoot equipment issues to root cause, including:
- Pumps, pneumatics, valves, and pressure monitoring systems
- RFC delivery and impedance matching
- Sensors, heaters, and control components
- Conduct component-level diagnostics and repair when necessary
- Use basic statistical process control (SPC) methods to monitor tool performance and identify trends
- Maintain accurate and detailed maintenance logs and equipment documentation
- Communicate technical findings, repeat issues, and tool status to engineering and peer teams
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, especially in chemical handling areas
- Identify and propose equipment or process improvements to enhance tool reliability and performance
- Support continuous improvement and uptime initiatives within the etch area
Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED
- Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment, including full gowning and face covering
- A strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or completed an Associate’s (AS) degree
- Experience supporting or maintaining etch tools or similar semiconductor equipment
- Exposure to hazardous chemical handling and safety protocols (e.g., acids, solvents)
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or other cleanroom environments

Pay
The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $26 to $33.
