About the Role

Join a team responsible for maintaining the critical equipment that powers Gulfstream’s aircraft manufacturing operations. Gulfstream is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to support aircraft-related production equipment through expert troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and correct electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment malfunctions
  • Perform Preventive and Predictive Maintenance in accordance with established schedules
  • Execute high-quality repairs to ensure equipment operates within required specifications
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and safety
  • Perform setup and calibrations on scheduled intervals for all aircraft-related production equipment
  • Daily input of required data in CMMS system for machine reliability and control
  • Interface daily with key Management and Production personnel regarding all aircraft-related production equipment
  • Assist with Engineering acceptance testing and training
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 3 years of experience with electrical controls and mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment
  • A 2-year technical degree may offset 1 year of experience
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
  • Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and controls aspects of factory automation
  • Ability to work any shift
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Background in CNC Equipment and GSE Equipment a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Working knowledge of replacing spindles, ball screws, linear guide ways, bearings, hydraulics repairs, and precision machine/laser alignments is a plus
  • Working knowledge of PC-based Microsoft Office
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management software relevant to spare parts management, work order creation, and Preventive Maintenance preferred

Unique Skills

Electrical and hydraulic experience preferred.

Schedule

3rd shift: Monday - Thursday, 10:00 PM - 8:30 AM
