About the role

Grandvue Medical Care Facility in East Jordan is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Equipment Inventory Specialist to join our team. This full-time role is essential in maintaining, managing, and overseeing the inventory of both medical and non-medical equipment throughout our facility.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining, managing, and overseeing the inventory of both medical and non-medical equipment throughout the facility.
• Ensuring all assigned equipment is operational, compliant with safety regulations, and readily available to staff when needed.
• Working closely with various departments to coordinate repairs, maintenance schedules, and equipment purchases.

Requirements

• Annual influenza vaccination or GMCF approved exemption required for employment.
• COVID-19 vaccinations are highly encouraged.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in equipment management or professional business office environment.
• Experience in equipment management or maintenance, ideally in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
• Strong understanding of medical and non-medical equipment used in nursing homes.

Skills

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with a particular focus on Excel.
