About the role
American Ordnance is looking for a Property Specialist who can bring organization, accountability, and hands-on coordination to property and fleet operations across the plant.
Responsibilities
- Completes all receiving reports and ensures accuracy of all equipment records plant wide.
- Conducts plant wide inventory of Contractor and Government equipment.
- Receives incoming scrap metals/materials and segregate appropriately.
- Locate, organize and lot plant equipment items to be sold.
- Prepare for shipment any excess property, material sold or property sent off post for repair/exchange.
- Performs duties as required during absence of Salvage Yard Supervisor.
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
- 2+ years related experience Required
- Valid Driver's License Required
- Must be able to obtain forklift operator certification.
- Successful completion of a background screening process is mandated for all candidates.
- A positive attitude and the ability to collaborate with team members is essential for contributing to a cohesive work environment.
- Candidates may be required to satisfy additional job-related requirements, including those established and controlled by third parties, as part of the selection process.

- Must possess knowledge to identify different types of equipment and metal to categorized in appropriate classifications.
- Ability to speak effectively to external customers or employees of the company.
- Must be able to handle multiple duties simultaneously.
- Can work independently but also in team environment.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as Procedures, shipping orders and navigating to remote areas.
Pay
The salary range for this role is $61,680 – $92,520 annually. Please note that this range is not a guarantee of compensation; final offer amounts may vary based on experience and geographic location.
