Equipment Engineering Manager

About the role

Lead new model launches, equipment strategy, and advanced manufacturing systems for a growing Tier 1 automotive supplier. Responsible for supporting new product development, capital equipment planning, process development, and manufacturing launch execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of equipment engineers, ensuring equipment readiness, manufacturability, and performance.
• Coordinate procurement, installation, and startup of equipment, managing budgets and timelines.
• Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and leadership to improve safety, quality, uptime, and efficiency.
• Support troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and align engineering with business goals.

Requirements

• Technical degree.
• 3+ years of automotive experience.
• Leadership skills in equipment engineering or process development.
