Equipment Engineer

Responsibilities
- Evaluate, select, and order equipment that is most appropriate and cost-effective for manufacturing company products.
- Oversee the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
- Stay current on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues.
- Study equipment performance and reliability.
- Establish programs and solutions for increasing uptime and resolving equipment problems affecting the manufacturing process.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations.
- Define and write preventative maintenance schedules.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics, or a related engineering field.
- 2+ years of relevant semiconductor experience in Process, Product, or Equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Equipment experience with AMAT and/or Ebara CMP Polishers.
- Experience with tool monitoring and interdiction software, equipment maintenance, and documentation.
- Working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing and SPC techniques.
- Experience with semiconductor cleanroom protocol and behaviors.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions.
- Ability to take initiative and drive results.
- Strong time management skills enabling on-time project delivery.
- Ability to work effectively in an interrupt-driven, fast-paced, and rapidly changing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships.
Pay
Base pay is determined within a range and depends on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The pay range for this role is $81,500 - $126,000.
