Job Responsibilities
- Ensures Fab equipment and processes meet throughput, yield, safety, and efficiency objectives.
- Develops and documents procedures to sustain and evolve equipment performance.
- Identifies, prioritizes, and implements projects that provide continuous improvement of the overall uptime and output of semiconductor processes and equipment through analysis of data.
- Effectively communicates progress to goals through presentations and ongoing reviews.
- Attends and participates in daily operations meetings to provide status and plans – equipped with answers.
- Initiates Escalations for hard down equipment through to recovery (owns history, status, plans, and communication 24x7 until resolved).
- Plans and manages capital equipment procurements, installations, and upgrades.
- Trains and mentors equipment technicians.
- Manages multiple tasks and projects simultaneously within a rapidly changing environment.

Requirements
- Engineering or Science Degree in a Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial discipline.
- 5+ years’ experience in semiconductor manufacturing engineering.
- Experience managing relationships with external suppliers, contractors, and development partners.
- Experience with capital equipment procurement, capacity planning and modeling.
- Proof of success in continuous improvement of semiconductor fab manufacturing equipment.
Skills And Education
- Must be able to communicate in English: orally, in writing.
- Must be proficient in the MS Office suite of products, strong keyboard skills.
- Strong communication skills are required.
- Decision-making and troubleshooting skills are very important.
- CAD and Project skills preferred.
- Experienced with handling toxic and reactive chemicals and gases common to the semiconductor industry.
Physical Demands
- Some light lifting will be required up to 50 lbs.
- Prolonged sitting or standing up to 8 hours.
- Reaching, stooping, and bending as needed.
