Equipment Engineer

Department: GL6 Maintenance. Location: SMC.

About the role

FII USA, Inc., a Foxconn Technology Group Company, is seeking an Equipment Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will support a wide variety of technical and operational tasks within the Production Department in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and adherence to specifications.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to minimize downtime.
• Assist internal and external users with equipment training, tool usage, and safe operation.
• Train staff on safety procedures and cleanroom protocols.
• Develop, write, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Train users on microfabrication and characterization equipment.
• Perform equipment installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Provide safety oversight and operational support.
• Support microfabrication activities for funded projects.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with solid modeling, AutoCAD, and engineering materials/properties.
• 3+ years of experience in an SMT manufacturing environment preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in an electronic assembly environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of ECR/ECN engineering processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization.
