Equipment Detailer

Haug Implement Co. provides an estimated base pay range; the actual starting pay offer will account for overall wage and benefit package, applicant experience, training, and skill, and internal equity among existing employees.

Responsibilities

• Washes, cleans, and details equipment
• Operates and maintains vehicles, tools, and equipment required in the detailing process
• Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
• Performs light maintenance on dealer-owned sales and rental equipment
• Performs light maintenance on customer equipment
• Delivers customer equipment
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
• Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with job assignments
• Accounts for all time and material used in performing assigned duties
• Exhibits a constant commitment to customer service
• Promotes the service department to customers including service work, inspections, and parts
• Maintains a tidy, professional personal appearance
• Reports to work on time
• Employs good time-management skills and has the ability to work independently
• Demonstrates good work ethic
• Communicates effectively one-on-one and in groups
• Maintains positive, professional working relationships dealership-wide
• Works cooperatively with co-workers and management
• Completes required training
• Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products

Qualifications

• Ability to operate vehicles, tools, and equipment used in the machinery reconditioning and pre-delivery processes
• 1+ years detailing experience preferred
• Forklift experience preferred
• Knowledge of using safety equipment required to complete tasks
• Able to bend, lift, and carry
• Experience using standard desktop applications like Microsoft Office and internet applications
• Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record required
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and independently

Pay

This is an hourly position with a potential hiring offer range of $18.00–25.00.
