Essential Position Functions/Responsibilities Schedule and stage equipment reconditioning process for the departmentAccept assigned jobs from Supervisor Wash and detail/recondition new and used trucksPerform required work at or above efficiency standardsParticipate in training as requiredWork with Supervisor to diagnose cause and malfunction and perform basic repairs as directed by Supervisor or other techniciansExamine assigned vehicle to determine if further reconditioning or repairs are needed or recommendedCommunicate with supervisor immediately if additional repairs are needed, if outlined work is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed in a reasonable or promised timeDocument in detail, work performed on repairsReport tool, machinery, or equipment defects to supervisorKeep reconditioning areas clean and safeMaintain and be accountable for all company owned tools, materials and equipmentUnderstand and comply with all federal, state and local regulationsPerform all duties and activities in a safe mannerReport any safety issues immediately to a supervisorOther duties to meet business requirements
