Equipment Coordinator

About the role

The Equipment Coordinator is responsible for equipment inventory control, maintaining adequate stock levels, monitoring inventory, and supporting forecasted demand for The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute, the Critical Care Tower, and the Emergency Department. This role works closely with departments throughout the organization to distribute medical equipment and ensure equipment needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process equipment distribution requests
• Fulfill and track orders
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels
• Manage the inventory of non-capital equipment
• Collaborate with the Assistant Director, Manager, and Inventory Control Analyst to support the implementation of building standards across the James campus
• Ensure compliance with patient care standards, business practices, and equipment operation requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• At least one year of relevant experience in inventory management, supply chain, materials management, equipment coordination, or a related healthcare support role
