Mesilla Valley Transportation is hiring an Equipment Control Coordinator in El Paso, TX! The Equipment Control Coordinator I is responsible for maintaining the Transportation Management System (TMS) and performing quality control functions to ensure accuracy and cost-effective operations.

Responsibilities

• Work with departments to ensure truck issues are solved and recovered.
• Accurately enter and maintain operational data within the Transportation Management System (TMS).
• Track trucks and maintain all the necessary reports to communicate to departments including other departments across company.
• Perform daily audits of fleet divisions with no discrepancies.
• Maintain daily and accurate inventory of tablets.
• Inspect all trucks for damage and cleanliness.
• Maximize resource utilization to support efficient fleet operations.
• Monitor and respond to emails and internal communications in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications

• Experience in a motor carrier operation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite or related software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain strong attention to detail.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of North American geography.
• Bilingual (preferred)
