About the role
The Equine Manager oversees the care and management of all horses at the facility. Responsibilities include daily feeding, grooming, exercise, and medical care. The role also involves managing the barn staff and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Daily feeding and watering of horses
- Grooming and exercise routines
- Administering medications and monitoring health
- Managing barn staff and training new employees
- Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in equine care
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of horse nutrition and care
- Experience with basic veterinary procedures
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills

Pay
$18 - $20 per hour
