Equal Employment Manager.

Duties

• Direct and manage the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) program.
• Manage the processing and disposition of all individual and class EEO Complaints.
• Ensure cooperation with EEO Counselors and EEO personnel in prompt processing/investigation and resolution of complaints.
• Determine the need for and initiates action to obtain adequate personnel, funds, and equipment to manage a viable, model EEO program.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance for the duration of employment.
• Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 11.
• This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of up to 25% of the time.
• Direct deposit of pay is required.
• Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.
