ePT Diagnostics Calibration Engineer
About the role
The Stellantis' On-Board Diagnostic Calibration Engineer will develop new diagnostic strategies for electric, engine, and hybrid propulsion control systems. This role involves reviewing system and software designs, generating test plans, managing vehicle/test-bench/virtual resources, developing and validating compliant calibrations for future propulsion system programs. The engineer will work cross-functionally with hardware development, controls and software development, program management, test fleet support, vehicle and compliance teams. They will guide instrumentation of electrical and physical systems, utilize and review data from acquisition software (INCA) to ensure desired diagnostic behavior is achieved. The engineer will also gather functional requirements and required milestones to plan and execute development to achieve on-time successful product launches. Projects may involve working on new technologies on electrified propulsion systems, requiring an understanding of distributed control architectures, engine & electric motor control, interactions with energy storage and management systems.
