About the role
Seeking an Epidemiologist II to support the Patient Health Innovation (PHI) Analytics team by developing evaluation methodologies, study designs, and measurement strategies for patient programs and digital health initiatives. This role partners with cross-functional teams and external vendors to translate business objectives into evidence-based evaluation frameworks, performance metrics, and actionable insights that improve patient outcomes and inform strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Design evaluation methodologies for patient engagement programs and digital health initiatives
- Develop study designs, measurement frameworks, and end-of-program evaluation strategies
- Define KPIs, baseline measures, performance targets, and monitoring plans
- Design test-and-learn methodologies, including control/intervention groups and impact assessments
- Identify and mitigate bias in study design and evaluation methodologies
- Analyze and interpret patient outcomes, healthcare utilization, and program performance metrics
- Utilize healthcare data sources including claims, EHR, real-world evidence (RWE), and vendor-provided datasets
- Translate complex analytical methods and findings into actionable recommendations for business stakeholders
- Collaborate with analytics teams, marketing, project leads, and external vendors to optimize program performance
- Develop performance dashboards, evaluation reports, and executive readouts to support strategic decision-making
- Support project coordination, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Outcomes Research, or a related discipline
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in epidemiology, healthcare analytics, program evaluation, or outcomes research
