Epicor Eclipse Systems Administrator (1147722)

About the role

The Systems Administrator - Eclipse ERP & Infrastructure is responsible for the administration, support, and continuous improvement of Epicor Eclipse ERP environments and supporting infrastructure. This role serves as the primary technical resource for ERP administration, user access management, system integrations, infrastructure support, and branch technology enablement. The position partners with IT teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of critical business systems.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Epicor Eclipse ERP environments.
• Manage user access, security permissions, terminal configurations, and environment setup.
• Support ERP licensing, module activation, upgrades, migrations, and system enhancements.
• Maintain Eclipse ERP application servers and supporting infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance and proactively resolve availability and performance issues.
• Troubleshoot ERP, server, application, and infrastructure incidents.
• Support integrations between Eclipse ERP and internal and external business systems.
• Assist with technology migrations, consolidations, and modernization initiatives.
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve critical production issues.
• Support branch technology deployments, warehouse systems, and operational readiness.
• Provide technical guidance for ERP implementations, upgrades, and acquisitions.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, configurations, procedures, and support records.
• Support RF devices, wireless networks, mobile technologies, and inventory management solutions.
• Partner with business units to improve operational processes and technology adoption.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience supporting ERP systems, enterprise applications, or IT infrastructure.
• Experience managing user access, system administration, and technical support in production environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience administering Epicor Eclipse ERP.
• Experience supporting multi-site operations and distributed infrastructure.
• Experience with ERP migrations, system integrations, and infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of warehouse technologies, RF systems, wireless networks, and inventory management solutions.
