Epic Willow Inpatient Analyst (Pharmacist)

About the role

Remote position; must be based in the United States and available for early East Coast meeting times.

Responsibilities

• Provide analyst-level support for Epic Willow Inpatient, including build, testing, and clinical validation.
• Complete build work for the Medication Configuration Alignment (MCA) effort based on decisions made by the client's pharmacists.
• Work day‑to‑day tickets and basic build as part of the team's ongoing maintenance efforts.
• Partner with the client's Pharmacy application team, project leadership, and application owners to ensure timely execution of assigned work.
• Maintain accurate status reporting and task tracking within the client's project management systems as required.

Requirements

• Pharmacist strongly preferred; pharmacy technician with recent and/or extensive pharmacy experience as second choice.
• Hands‑on Epic Willow Inpatient build experience and certification.
• Strong working knowledge of pharmacy nomenclature, including medication records, frequencies, and routes.
• Comfortable providing both keep‑the‑lights‑on (KTLO) support and new build work (mix evolving).
• Comfortable working in a fully remote capacity with a distributed project team.

Skills

• Senior level preferred; a mid‑tier pharmacist with a couple of years on Willow Inpatient or Beacon may suit some projects.
• Experience with Willow Ambulatory, or with medication standardization efforts across multiple sites or hospitals.
• Experience helping clients through Epic Modernization – a key differentiator.
