Epic RTE/Prelude Analyst

Remote contract role supporting Epic Prelude and Real-Time Eligibility (RTE) build, service requests, and optimization efforts through the end of 2026 for a large healthcare organization.

About the role

This position focuses on Epic Prelude and RTE configuration to drive registration accuracy, eligibility verification, and front-end revenue cycle performance. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with both Prelude and RTE build, along with a strong understanding of patient access operations and Epic build best practices.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing Epic Prelude and Real-Time Eligibility (RTE) service requests and enhancement initiatives.
• Design, build, test, and maintain RTE workflows and configurations.
• Configure and optimize Prelude functionality to support patient registration and scheduling processes.
• Collaborate with operational stakeholders to identify workflow improvements and resolve issues.
• Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production support activities.
• Provide recommendations to improve eligibility verification accuracy and overall patient access efficiency.
• Ensure solutions align with organizational standards and Epic best practices.

Requirements

• Epic Prelude Certification required.
• Minimum 5 years of Epic Real-Time Eligibility (RTE) build experience.
• Minimum 5 years of Epic Prelude build experience.
• Strong knowledge of patient access, registration, and eligibility verification workflows.
• Experience supporting service requests, enhancements, and operational optimization efforts.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Benefit Engine experience.
• Experience supporting large healthcare organizations and complex patient access environments.
• Familiarity with revenue cycle and downstream financial impacts related to registration and eligibility workflows.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $85.00/hr. Individual compensation offered within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
