Epic Research & Genomics Analyst

Work you’ll do/Responsibilities

• Support the overall project goals and objectives within an engagement team.
• Interact with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Perform independent tasks and provide technical guidance to team members as needed.
• Work with the implementation team to plan and complete Epic builds, implement end-to-end systems, and conduct root cause analysis.
• Document and resolve break-fix tickets during command center shifts.
• Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and functional/technical team representatives, including escalating issues as necessary.
• Lead client engagement workstreams focused on process improvement, optimization, and transformation, including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing quality deficits, and driving operational outcomes.

Qualifications Required

• Current certification in primary Epic assigned application.
• 5+ years of experience in Epic Research & Genomics.
• 5+ years of experience in Epic build and support.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in information technology, business, or healthcare related field; or equivalent experience.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
• Ability to travel 10% on average based on the work and clients served.

Preferred

• Hospital or Clinic operations experience.
• Additional Epic Certifications.
• ITIL process knowledge.

Wage Range

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $125,000 - $143,000.
