Epic Project Manager, HIM

About the role

This is a dedicated HIM project management role (not a general PM pool assignment) focused on owning meeting scheduling, status reporting, and administrative coordination for HIM projects, helping keep dedicated HIM projects on track including the AI coding rollout, ROI initiative, clearinghouse selection, and Optum Insight implementation, partnering closely with the HIM team lead and manager to prioritize and sequence work, and coordinating cross‑functional involvement tied to active HIM projects.

Responsibilities

• Own meeting scheduling, status reporting, and administrative coordination for HIM projects, using the client's established PMO templates and standards.
• Help keep dedicated HIM projects on track, including the AI coding rollout, ROI initiative, clearinghouse selection, and Optum Insight implementation.
• Partner closely with the HIM team lead and manager to prioritize and sequence work.
• Coordinate cross‑functional involvement tied to active HIM projects.

Requirements

• Strong, proven project management fundamentals.
• Familiarity with HIM terminology and workflows (required).
