Epic Cogito Analyst

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Epic Beaker Reporting Analyst to support a healthcare organization. This role will focus on reducing a backlog of complex reporting requests by developing and delivering reports utilizing Epic Cogito tools, Clarity, Caboodle, and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, prioritize, and complete a backlog of complex report requests.
• Design, develop, test, and deliver reports using Epic Cogito reporting tools.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and analyze clinical and operational data.
• Utilize Epic Clarity and Caboodle data models to support reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify report specifications.
• Validate report accuracy and ensure delivered reports meet customer expectations.
• Document reporting logic, data sources, and development processes.
• Provide status updates and communicate progress on assigned work.

Requirements

• Epic Cogito Certification.
• Epic Clarity Certification.
• Epic Caboodle Certification.
• Epic Clinical Data Model Certification.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Epic Beaker Report Writing Experience.
• Experience with Reporting Workbench, Radar, and Slicer.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

Qualifications

• Previous Lab Experience (Epic Beaker / Cerner).
• Experience supporting laboratory workflows and reporting.
• Experience working in post-go-live optimization and reporting environments.
