Epic Certified Clinical Analysts
About the role
As an Epic certified Clinical Analyst at Tegria, you’ll work closely with our customers to identify and implement deliverables and outcomes as agreed upon in your statement of work. In addition to Epic project work, you will share your Epic and healthcare IT knowledge with the customer’s full-time team, mentor employees as needed, escalate issues, and ensure the success of the project. The role requires up-to-date certifications in one or more of the following Epic modules:

- Infection Control (Bugsy)
- Cupid/Radiant
- Ambulatory
- Healthy Planet
- Orders
- ClinDoc
- Care Everywhere
- Home Health
- Hospice

Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Delivery
- Work independently or as part of a healthcare IT project team on client engagements.
- Serve as an Epic liaison between diverse IT and operations groups.
- Utilize, review, and create project tools and templates for healthcare IT or operations-focused projects.
- Create and maintain project plans for Epic go-lives, upgrades, or application implementations.
- Evaluate and document current-state processes through discovery and analysis.
- Build, test, train, convert, and/or deploy new infrastructure, workflows, policies, and processes.
- Document measurable outcomes resulting from initiatives through KPI analysis and impact tracking.
- Utilize effective communication, decision-making, and escalation pathways.
- Execute project wrap-up through outcomes documentation, lessons-learned, and leave-behind materials to sustain ongoing operations.
- Mentor customer counterparts for long-term ownership and growth in their Epic IT or application area.
Internal Tegria Coordination
- Submit timesheets and expenses at the end of each week without delay.
- Complete status reports as needed by your client and Tegria.
- Attend project team check-in calls for specific large projects as needed.
- Complete onboarding requirements in a timely manner.
- Return equipment in a timely manner when your contract is done.
Requirements
- Willingness to travel.
- 3+ years of Epic experience.
- Up-to-date Epic Beaker AP/CP certifications.
- Knowledge and experience in application reporting.
- Comfortable working remotely and/or traveling to client sites.
- Previous experience doing both analyst and project management (PM) work.
- W2 project-based consultants must provide a computing device that adheres to industry standards and security best practices.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Additional Epic Certification(s).
- Prior consulting experience.
- Demonstrated ability in project, risk, or change management.
- Formal project management certification (e.g., PMP or CSM).
- Formal process improvement certification (e.g., Lean Six Sigma or ITIL).
