About the Role

The Epic Business Systems Analyst II ensures that the operational interests of their respective functional areas are being fully represented in the day-to-day operations of the Information Systems Department. This role supports the Epic applications deployed within the Harris Health System.

Responsibilities

  • Support Epic applications within the Harris Health System.
  • Understand and represent the operational interests of functional areas in the Information Systems Department.
  • Handle multiple activities simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet overlapping deadlines.
  • Understand the limitations and opportunities presented by the applications supported.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree OR four (4) years of related IT experience in a Healthcare environment.
  • Two (2) years of IT experience OR one (1) year in Hospital/Health Care Organizations.
  • Certification for at least one Epic Application preferred.
  • Experience in a hospital or clinic setting preferred.
  • Experience supporting an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
  • Healthcare Information Technology experience.
  • Understanding of functional processes and business rules related to the applications being implemented/supported.
