About the role
The Application Analyst III, Epic (Beacon) transforms healthcare through Epic application system analysis and design, providing support, training, and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Conducts intermediate to advanced analysis of Epic application design and system workflows.
- Independently manages assigned projects and work efforts, ensuring timely delivery.
- Led requirements gathering and facilitates design sessions with stakeholders.
- Analyzes and translates business needs into system solutions with minimal supervision.
- Develops and maintains documentation and knowledge resources for supported Epic and non-Epic (integrated third-party) applications.
- Assists with implementation of new Epic modules and system enhancements.
- Serves as a resource for Epic application and system support and provides guidance to team members.
- Assumes a mentoring role, supporting analysts and contributing to team knowledge sharing.
- Serves as a liaison across multiple Epic modules, teams, and stakeholders.
- Interacts with internal and external customers and stakeholders in a professional manner.
- Applies independent judgment and decision-making within established guidelines and escalates issues as appropriate.
- Identifies opportunities for system improvements and supports optimization efforts.
- Adheres to application change management processes, including communication, documentation, and post-change support.
- Tracks work effort and communicates project and task status effectively.
- Participates in an on-call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holiday.
Requirements
- Education: Associate's degree in computer science, information systems, healthcare, business or 2 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of related experience.
- Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: Obtains and maintains a minimum of 3 vendor and/or industry certifications/proficiencies as determined by management following a primary Epic support application proficiency path. Must maintain a certification/proficiency in applicable Epic module(s).

Pay
$89,232.00 - $142,771.20
Schedule
Primary work schedule is Monday–Friday during standard business hours; role requires flexibility beyond standard hours, including participation in an after-hours on-call rotation and occasional travel.
